More about this product

Cavalor Calm reduces stress in nervous horses that have hypersensitive and timid reactions to changing situations or unusual circumstances (transport, noises, colours, lights, commotion, unfamiliar environments, people and animals).

Horses that perform well in training may be less attentive in competitions or may withdraw from stress caused by transport, other horses, or environmental pressure, causing performance to suffer.

Cavalor Calm is developed for young, introverted, fussy horses and showy stallions. It helps the horse to maintain composure and concentration. Stress not only affects performance, it also affects a horse’s general well-being and can make it difficult to maintain condition.

Exercise and good nutrition help us to stay calm in stressful situations. Just like people, horses get nervous too. Some horses are more susceptible than others, based on their breeding or rearing, for example.

Not all tension is bad. Horses and humans both need a certain amount of tension to perform to the best of their abilities, but constant pressure or stress increases the likelihood of health problems.

Ensure that your horse gets adequate exercise and has a pleasant stable environment and a healthy diet. Nutrition can have an enormous influence on equine nervousness and behaviour.

Game changer!

I have a hot mare and use the Take It Easy syringes during stressful times with great results!

I thought I would try the Calm supplement for daily use.

This is the only daily calming supplement that has worked!

My horse has more focus and relaxation in her work. She's also more relaxed in the stable and field.

Not so good.

I seem to think this made our pony worse, so
Took him
Off it. Not sure how long I should of tried it for but certainly didn’t work for us.

Hi Janette

Thanks for the feedback and certainly sorry you didn't find the product working for your pony.

Firstly, no single solution fits all which is why we offer free expert advice on the telephone and live chat. It's certainly true that calming is a very difficult topic as there are so many causes and so many solutions - some of which don't involve supplements at all.

I would certainly advise - as I do to all clients - this particular product needs an absolute minimum of 14 days in order to have any chance of working at all so today puts you only just over this time.

Often resorting to calming products is a result of chronic conditions that simply can't be addressed quickly.

It is highly unlikely to have made it worse however this may not even be the correct product for you - and it is, of course, possible that the pony has gotten worse as the conditions that cause the problem aren't addressed.

I am more than happy to discuss this with you and would be happy to offer you a discount on a future purchase should I consider another product best suited to your situation.

Best wishes

Just as written on tin

Brrillant product once more fron cavalor. Started on sozen then continued on calm with daily dose, now have a spooky free horse who is now fun to ride!Thank you for such a great calmer.

Have found it keeps him calm as a daily supplement and top up with sozen for competing

It Works

I bought the Calm to replace the Sozen for everyday use. I wouldn't bother with anything else. It has made a huge difference to my spooky horse. I hae spent a fortune on supplements and calmers are the trickiest to get right. Will be buying it again.
